At the end of March ETOUR had the great pleasure to welcome SAINT Project Partners to Fjällnäs, Sweden, for the 5th transnational SAINT meeting. During the two days there were presentations on the interim results of the slow adventure survey, a summary of Gunnel Bergström’s presentation on enhancing the accessibility of slow adventure, a presentation by Lars-Börje “Bulan” Eriksson’s on destination networking and a workshop on the valueco-creation canvas and customer journey canvas to facilitate the discussion of both marketing initiatives and product development. Each project partner presented current activities for each clustering and marketing case study which lead to discussions on the future of the SAINT project.
There were also a variety of slow adventure activities offered in the Swedish region of Jämtland-Hjärdalen of course which included an inspiring meeting with the owner of the Fjällnäs, the oldest mountain hotel in Sweden, access to Mii Gullo Spa, mindfulness session in exclusive Aula Capella, a Sami joik performance, simulated grouse hunting activity for SMEs and an avalanche course with outdoor practice for all participants of the meeting.
